The Shaman’s Frame | DrumTonic
Hi, It’s me again.
Way back in the early eighties I joined an Australian band called the Eurogliders. The drummer, John Bennetts, is still a good mate of mine. John swapped places with me and moved to the UK, where he’s been an internet content creator for years, sharing anything from “How to’s” to drum bed tracks and much more.
Recently he visited Australia and dropped by the studio to play me some tracks from his forth coming album project “Lost Weekend in Montevideo.” The album will be released under the name – DrumTonic.
He asked me to master a couple of tracks for him. The first of these to be released is a piece called “The Shaman’s Frame.”
All I can say about this song is.. It’s Big – Very Big. A seven minute plus mantra-musical epic that introduces layer upon layer of melodies and percussion continuously striding forth on an odyssey into the great beyond and forever.
John commissioned a video clip created using Ai tools, and filmmaker – Barry Ferrier has done an amazing job of interpreting the concept of the ceaseless spiritual journey the quester endures.
